We had such a good time meeting so many people who are as passionate about the quality of seafood from here in Western Australia at the recent WA Seafood Industry Awards. The night was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our seafood industry, its value to the State economy, its professionalism and its commitment to supplying some of the finest seafood in the world to local, national and international markets, whilst also celebrating and encouraging industry participants.
It was a great pleasure to supply Abrolhos Octopus to well-known chef, Kenny McHardy from Manuka Pizza in Fremantle. Over coals, he cooked 300 serves of our octopus with celeriac remoulade and romesca. Not one serve was left. A big congratulations to all the winners and WA Fishing Industry for organising the event.
